Twitter’s platform is a valuable tool for relationship building when built with a‘know, like and trust’ consciousness. Once you establish that rapport, doors open to create a strong foundation in relationships.

Here is an example of a conversation that extended beyond Twitter:

Congratulations on your awakening to a bigger life and purpose.

It seems to me that you have recognized within yourself that where you are now in your relationship is not right for you, and there is a bigger vision for you to explore. Overcoming the ‘tribal’ mentality can be very difficult. Most of us are longing to belong and be accepted. I learned that personally. Those peoplecannot truly support you in your dreams, because they have not allowed themselves to dream and find the courage to make those dreams a reality.

It does get very lonely, especially when you are craving their love and acceptance, and they are physically so close and yet so far away emotionally. It is time to start your search for new friends and family, who support your dream and encourage you to become even more than what you can see for yourself. If you cannot physically remove yourself from those people yet, you’ll need to learn to protect yourself and your energy. Do not share your dreams with anyone who is not supportive of them. Steer the conversation away from what you’re doing or working on, shift to generic chats about the weather, sports, and children, anything that can keep them away from deluding your energy.

And, very important to note, be assured that you were not brought into this life to play the same roles as the people around you. With humble confidence you know there is a bigger future for you. Connect with your Source Energy – through prayer and meditation, and ask to be shown your future. But, be ready, because once you ask the question, the Universe will bring you the answers. It’s been waiting for your awakening, and wants to bring you everything you have been designed to accomplish. 

I have gone through this struggle myself, and my biggest shift was taking a quote to heart, “Be so busy Giving recognition, that you will not need it” ~ Jim Rohn. When I practiced that daily by reaching out and truly connecting with people on Twitter, I was amazed at the response I received back. I ‘Gave’ for the sake of ‘Giving’, and received much more back. That led to a massive shift in my awareness, confidence and discovery of my own gifts, which has opened new doors to understanding my purpose and passion.
