Similar Habits Of Great Minds
It is not a secret that all great
entrepreneurial minds have similar habits. Perhaps this is what makes them do great exploits and achieve immense success and recognition in start-ups than the rest of humanity. These habits are powerful and define their leadership.  Here are just some of the most outstanding habits that should
motivate you to change your mind set and way of doing things.
1) Question beliefs
Great entrepreneurial minds don’t just
believe what others believe. They question the beliefs and engage in thinking that shapes the lives of many people. Their inquisitive minds seek to know the truth and correctness of ideas and philosophies in their societies. Their motivation is to find and apply philosophical truths that will
improve humanity and better the lives of
people in all spheres of influence.
2) They persist.
Great minds are known for their
persistence in life.  They can persist in all
negative situations- challenges, criticism,
and crises and maintain their demeanour
and calm. They know that challenges are
temporal and when they arise, they create good opportunities to build their character and leadership abilities.
3) They pursue their best
Great minds always strive to grow their
potentials, skills, and scale greater heights in their lives. Instead of focusing on the illusions of perfection, they set and pursue more realistic goals and paths that help them reach their destiny. Since they have direct paths to their goals, they care less about ideals of perfection which distract the majority of us from achieving what they desire in life.
4) Listens to heart instead of head
If there is one thing that differentiates great minds from averages ones, it is their ability to listen with heart instead of mind. They do not listen only to their intellect, but use their intuition to make judgments about situations. Their intuitions guide them before the brain triggers a response. Perhaps, this explains why some people have more gut feeling about entrepreneurship than others.
5 ) Embrace and learn from their
mistakes
To cap it all, all great minds acknowledge
and embrace their mistakes. Humans
always err, but some people just don’t
want to be cognizant of their limitations or shortcomings. After all, there is a saying that goes “if it doesn’t kill you, it makes you stronger!” Great minds know their faults, weaknesses, and mistakes and use them to gain invaluable experience.
6) Quick to listen, slow to talk
Great minds take time to internalize and
reflect on information while average minds provide snap responses. In any
conversation, a great mind is careful and
attentive enough to recognize common
errors, misconception, and prejudices.
Great young entrepreneurs always listens
first, think through what is said, and give
appropriate responses. The reason why
they are tolerant and accommodative is
because they listen to others with empathy and understanding.
